Harker Closes Out The 2024 Harvard Westlake Debates

Congratulations to Harker’s Ansh Sheth and Harker’s Sofia Shah on closing out the 2024 Harvard Westlake Debates. In semifinals, Ansh defeated OCSA’s Iva Liu on a 2-1 decision (Dosch, Karavadi, Mimou*), and Sofia defeated Memorial’s David Xu on a 3-0 decision (Myers, Cryan, Dosch). Congratulations to Ansh on top speaker.

Additionally, we’d like to congratulate our alumni for their success this past weekend. Sofia Shah (Champion), Iva Liu (Semis), Ava Wegmann-Gartz, Sterling Utovac (Octos), Om Modi, Bolang Zhu, Anika Ganesh, Tanya Wei, Alex Borgas, Nikhil Bawa (Doubles), William Wei, Shawn Lo, Shaina Sanchez, Heather Yang, Ella Huang, Stanford Online, Austin Loui, and Nicolette Huff (Triples) reached elimination rounds.
