Harvard Westlake’s Matthew Paul Beats Loyola’s Andrew Overing in Jack Howe Finals

Congratulations to Harvard Westlake’s Matthew Paul for winning the 2018 Jack Howe Invitational at CSU Long Beach on a 2-1 decision (Larsen, Osuna, Lenamond*) and Loyola’s Andrew Overing for reaching finals!

Congratulations to all SJDI alumni for their successes. SJDI alumni made up 62.5% of competitors who reached the quarterfinal round.

We’d also like to specifically congratulate alumni Viren Abhyankar (Semis), Karthik Krishnan, Asher Towner, Linus Epstein, Vincent Liu (Quarters), Sasha Anand (Octas), Benjamin Cortez, and Dylan Liu (Dubs) for reaching elimination rounds.
