Harvard Westlake’s Samantha McLoughlin and Vishan Chaudhary Close Out Peninsula

Congratulations to Samantha McLoughlin and Vishan Chaudhary from Harvard-Westlake for closing out the 2019 Peninsula Invitational. In semi-finals, Vishan defeated Dougherty Valley’s Kavin Kumaravel on a 3-0 decision (Dosch, Dosch, Long) and Samantha walked over Harvard Westlake’s Matthew Gross.

Additional congratulations to Debate Intensive alumni for their achievements this weekend. 50% of quarterfinal and octafinal round participants were TDI alumni. Kavin Kumaravel (Sems), Benjamin Cortez, Asher Towner, Jacob Spiegelman (Quarters), Karthik Krishnan, David Si, Vincent Liu, Kabir Dubey (Octas), and Linus Epstein reached elimination rounds.
