Kabir Dubey wins Golden Desert

Congratulations to two-time Debate Intensive alum Kabir Dubey from Dougherty Valley for championing the 2019 Golden Desert Invitational at UNLV. In finals, Kabir defeated Quarry Lane’s Sai Karavadi on a 3-0 decision (Stidham, Flores, Clark-Villanueva). Sai won top speaker.

Additional congratulations to Debate Intensive alumni for their achievements this weekend. Kabir Dubey (Champion), Madeleine Conrad-Mogin (Semis), Vincent Liu (Quarters), Kavin Kumaravel (Octos), and Lena Mizrahi (Dubs) reached elimination rounds. Alumni Kavin Kumaravel (2), Vincent Liu (6), Kabir Dubey (7), and Madeleine Conrad-Mogin (14) won top 15 speaker awards.
