Krishna Mysoor Champions Hollywood Damus Invitational

Congratulations to Krishna Mysoor for championing the 2019 Damus Hollywood Invitational. In finals, Krishna defeated Wiley Kohler from South Eugene HS on a 2-1 decision (Amaya, Michael, *Allums). George Zhang from Harvard-Westlake won top speaker.

TDI alumni had a stellar showing at the tournament. 50% of debaters in Octas, Quarters, Semis, and Finals are TDI alumni, and 44% of debaters in LD elimination rounds attended TDI. In addition, TDI alumni were 6 of the top 10 speakers.

In particular, we’d like to congratulate Wiley Kohler (Finals), Benjamin Cortez (Semis), Asher Towner, Aaron Zhang (Quarters), Lucas Hunter, Anish Ramireddy, Rhys Moon, Jungwoo Seo (Octas), Felicity Park, Jacob Namgung, Iris Chen, and Matthew Adelstein (Doubles) for reaching elimination rounds.
