Kumail Zaidi Wins 2020 Cal Invitational

Congratulations to Kumail Zaidi from Oak Hall for winning the 2020 Cal Invitational. In finals, Kumail defeated Alexandra Mork from Harvard-Westlake on a 3-0 decision (Wilson, Rathod, Rathod). Congratulations to Alexandra Mork for earning top speaker.

We’d like to commend our alumni for their success this weekend. In particular, alums Parth Dhanotra, Asher Towner (Octas), Rhys Moon, Ethan Elasky, Kabir Dubey, Tarun Ratnasabapathy, Rex Evans (Doubles), Anish Ramireddy, Anurag Rao, Arya Goel, Yash Mishra, Felicity Park, Alyssa Sawyer, Aaron Zhang, and Benjamin Cortez (Trips) reached elimination rounds. We’d also like to congratulate alums Kristen Lu, Sean Lipps (Trips), and Darin Park (Doubles) for reaching elimination rounds in policy debate.
