Congratulations to La Canada’s Alex Zhao for winning the Barkley Forum, hosted by Emory University. In finals, Alex beat Harrison’s Raffi Piliero on a 5-0 (Boyd, Huston, Jordan, Randall, Lingel). Alex also lost one ballot all tournament in Round 2, winning every outround on unanimous decisions. Congratulations also to Success Academy’s Sekou Cisse for being the top seed! Alex Zhao is an LADI alum and will be teaching at the San Jose Debate Intensive this summer.
