Nathan Russell wins 2020 Peninsula Invitational

Congratulations to Nathan Russell from Harvard-Westlake for winning the 2020 Peninsula Invitational. In finals, Nathan defeated Kabir Dubey from Dougherty Valley on a 2-1 decision (Sudesh, Jalan, Dille*). Lucas Hunter from Loyola won top speaker. Kabir and Lucas are both TDI alums.

We’d like to congratulate our alumni for their success this weekend. TDI alums Kabir Dubey (Finals), Kavin Kumaravel, Lucas Hunter (Quarters), Parth Dhanotra, Nihar Abhyankar, Ben Cortez (Octos), Beatrice Culligan, Arjun Garg, Arya Goel, Aayush Patel, and Matthew Adelstein (Doubles) reached elimination rounds.

In addition, alums Lucas Hunter (1st), Kabir Dubey (2nd), Kavin Kumaravel (4th), Benjamin Cortez (5th), Parth Dhanotra (9th), and Nihar Abhyankar (10th) earned top 10 speaker awards.

In policy, TDI alum Nikhil Navare championed the tournament and earned 10th speaker.
