Rebecca Davidov Wins the National Speech And Debate Season Opener

Congratulations to Ridge’s Rebecca Davidov on winning the 2023 National Speech And Debate Season Opener. In finals, Rebecca defeated Athenian’s Everett Yau on a 3-0 decision (Kanamangula, Wiessner, Meza). Congratulations to St Agnes’ Ella Huang on top speaker.

We’d like to congratulate our alumni for their success this past weekend. Andrew Wesel (Quarters), Tanya Wei, Sachin Aggarwal (Octos), Kaison Maruyama, Ella Huang, Bolang Zhu, Roger Li (Doubles), Luke Rascoff, Nikhil Bawa, Om Modi, and Ryan Noorizadeh (Runoffs) made it to elimination rounds.
